Lesson # 18: A Writer is Someone Who Writes. If You Want to Be a Writer, Write!

by bye2mrwrong

Ahh this one is for all us bloggers out there, all of us inspiring writers whose heart’s greatest desire is to engrave our thoughts, our words, our story, our lives onto pages upon pages; secretly hoping that maybe just maybe those pages will transform into books.

Like many of the other lessons of this book, they somehow go hand in hand; and this one goes together with lesson #2. If you want to write you have to start somewhere.

Don’t procrastinate, don’t overanalyze. Take a seat in front of the computer and start typing. Rid your bones of those thoughts and memories. Quiet those voices in your head. Lose yourself in the magic of your enchanted little world. Let your thoughts flow out word by word, paragraph by paragraph, page by page.

  1. Again, I have to agree with you on this. I started writing long before I got published. It is a craft that you have to dedicate yourself to. It is a creative process and like all creative processes, you have to experiment, think outside the box but just keep doing it always striving to do it better.

    Blessings on you and yours

  2. And aren’t we just!!

    It is SO therapeutic too!

    Keep writing

    Hugs
